5 Helpful Lessons in Life
Have you ever looked back at your life and thought to yourself, "I wish I had done some things differently?
Whatever you did, you cant go back and change it now.
You actually were doing the best thing that you saw fit at the time, and that’s ok because it felt right at the time.
I sometimes think to myself, "if only I knew then, what I know now, my life would have been complete much earlier.
That’s not fun, is it?
Life is a journey of learning and it will take an eternity, there is always something new to learn.
But there are some things that we can still do now, no matter what age we are, we are never too old or young to start something new.
To be honest, I have some tips for you that I do wish I had taken notice of a lot earlier in my life but they came to me when I realized that I was repeating the same patterns and was going around in circles, then I crashed, lost everything, and began to awaken to the bigger picture of life.
Here are my top 5 tips to help guide you.
1. Get over the fears.
I was the little mouse, the listener with no voice, I always worried about what others thought of me, I was scared to try anything new, this kept me stuck for over 40 years. I had to face the fears.
WHAT SCARES YOU?
Take action steps towards them, then you will be able to walk through hell with a smile.
2. Dream bigger.
Dare to dream, you have a creative mind, what do you really want to do? We are allowed to dream, see the end result actually happening in your mind, you can achieve it, we have to take the action and be brave, I always thought small and could never imagine too big of a dream, it was not in my belief system, but miracles can and do happen, and not always in a logical way either.
3. Practice more love.
Love and appreciate as many as you can, You were born out of love, you are made of love, it feels good to be loved, we all want love, it's why we are here, feeling love is the strongest most powerful energy that radiates out the furthest from your heart, it feels amazing when we are in love, and as you are a human magnet, what do you want to attract back? Would it be love? Also, it's much easier to send that stuff out when you love yourself too.
4. Do more of what feels good.
You have that choice, what makes you feel alive when you are doing it? What are you passionate about? You love how it feels, it gives you satisfaction, a sense of achievement, and it makes you feel proud. Do more of that stuff, what you focus on expands and more will come back to you.
5. Forgive daily.
Things happen in life, we get disturbed or upset and it’s way too easy to hang on to that stuff, try practicing forgiveness in your thoughts, and then move on, we can easily give ourselves analysis paralysis, which only hurts us. It's like having a shower or brushing our teeth daily, we learn a new habit, and repeat it, forgiveness is a form of self-love because you are loving yourself enough to let it go and give your self a sense of peacefulness by dropping the shackles of burden, do it for your own peace of mind.
All of these realizations or lessons really helped my life feel so much easier, obviously on top of learning the laws and principles of life.
