Happy days to you, soul tribe!
Imagine you’ve had a great weekend and now it’s Monday morning…
Or you’ve been working tirelessly on something and nothing seems to change.
Perhaps there’s an amazing desire you’ve been trying to manifest but it’s not coming fast enough, leaving you feeling ready to give up.
We all experience moments when motivation runs out and it can feel so hard to get moving again.
Motivation affects performance, energy and how we show up in the world.
I know this all too well. I lost all my motivation when my beloved mum passed away. I was depleted, devastated, and emotionally low. Taking time off to heal and care for my family
was necessary but after months, I knew I needed to move forward and reignite my spark.
Motivation vs Inspiration: What’s the Difference?
Many people confuse motivation with inspiration but they’re slightly different:
Motivation is the drive to take action, even when you don’t feel like it.
Inspiration is the feeling that sparks the desire to do something meaningful.
Both are essential. Motivation keeps you moving forward and inspiration reminds you why you started in the first place.
We all need motivation at times but who is going to help us or what will it take to get us there?
You have to be your own hero!
No one else is going to provide the inspiration or motivation.
Mindset Matters: Be Your Own Hero
Sometimes we think we need someone else to push us but the truth is, you need to be your own hero.
Your inner thoughts and beliefs have a direct effect on motivation.
Ask yourself: “What small step can I take today to feel better energetically?”
Losing motivation sometimes is normal. Feeling stuck doesn’t mean failure. It means you’re human.
By taking small intentional actions and focusing on positivity, you gradually rebuild your energy, raise your vibration and attract opportunities back to you.
How to Stay Motivated When Life Feels Hard
Here are some ways I personally regain motivation and lift my energy:
Break it down into small steps – Focus on one thing you can do today rather than the entire mountain ahead.
Celebrate tiny wins – Every step counts, even small progress deserves recognition.
Shift your energy – Surround yourself with positivity, whether it’s uplifting music, nature, or inspiring people.
Practice gratitude and affirmations – Daily reminders of what you are capable of can shift your mindset.
Move your body – Physical activity releases energy and boosts your mood naturally.
Journaling for clarity – Writing down your thoughts, feelings, and goals can reduce mental clutter.
These are simple but powerful tools to break negative energy cycles and regain your spark.
Regaining Your Spark After Loss or Setbacks
After losing my mum, I had to relearn how to care for my energy and find my motivation again. It took patience, gentle self-love and daily practices to reconnect with my purpose.
If you’re struggling right now, know that you are not alone. Embrace inspiration, take baby steps and celebrate every forward move. Your spark can and will return.
I’ve made a video on motivation, which you can watch on my Youtube channel.
If you want longer-term support for positivity and building inner resilience, my online courses are designed to guide you step by step.

Keep shining your light, soul tribe. You have the power to reignite your spark and move forward with courage and positivity!
Love, Kim xx
